I wish that I was a permanent employee instead of just contractor on the GSAP Project. The down side of being a contractor is that they could really care less if you found a job after this project or not."

"As management, increasing wages for a very loyal staff is very important."

"Good luck and watch your back. Stay out of the political circle."

What don't you like about working at Shell?

"You need to watch your back. Management was weak and only interested in themselves and moving on to their next position. Not many left in management that know the oil business, most come from another company such as Frito-Lay or Pepsico with a marketing background."

"Go back to the basics."

"The friendly atmosphere but depends in the department or business unit you work for. My former manager works for SLUBE and it was a very competitive environment to a point you had to watch your back."

"Too many managers not enough workers"

"let go of your unproductive staff and instead hire your contractors who are contributing to your bottom line. employees become complacent while contractors work harder to prove their worth. don't follow the industry norm when you can be smarter."
