"Campbeel-Ewald, once a premier agency in the automotive segment, has suffered along with their 90+ year client, Chevrolet."

What do you like about working at Campbell Ewald?

"I loved working at Campbell-Ewald and hoped to retire from that company. Up until the last 2 years, if one worked hard and contributed the opportunies were abundant. I was able to define most of my roles and helped bring in new business, deliver cost saving programs and applications, and was able to balance my home/work life with no problem. There is probably nothing I wouldn't have done for Campbell-Ewald."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Work hard (it really is worth it). Listen. Try to view the big picture. Don't be afraid to share your goals with your boss. Always keep you options open."

What don't you like about working at Campbell Ewald?

"Campbell-Ewald was so tied into General Motors/Chevrolet and that way of working that they nearly faced the same fate: extinction of a once great institution. Campbell-Ewald putting the majority of their eggs in one basket was frightening for the employees (and a nightmare come true for someone like me who lost their job soley due to the fate of GM)."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Educate yourselves so that you can make informed decisions; invest appropriately in the right solutions (whatever they may be) and don't always be late to the game. Build your infrastructure so that it can withstand weaknesses in the economy. Good creative work will always speak for itsself; build a foundation on which it can stand."
