What do you like about working at Commerce National Bank?
"I enjoyed very much the autonomy I had of my time and what I was able to accomplish with it. I felt like I was in control of my success and or failure."
What do you like about working at CitiGroup?
"The people, challenging work environment, customer focus."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"You can be successful here, but at what price"
What don't you like about working at CitiGroup?
"The company continues to take away benefits from employees and does not sufficiently reward workers for performance. Pay freezes have occurred for multiple years. Financially, front office employees are treated far better than back office employees, with no consideration for their relative contribution. Workers are not valued. Focus is strictly on cutting costs, reducing heads, and having the remaining employees pick up the work. 60+ hour work weeks are not uncommon."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Pay attention to the vibes coming out of senior management in New York. Many of the seniors below Vikram only care about their own success and not about employees or the customer. If you want others to adopt the principles you espouse, focus on your own senior management team and the minions they send out to implement your policies...you would be embarrassed."
What do you like about working at Edelman Digital?
"The people, the breadth of responsibilities every day, being able to mold a team to higher business achievement, the office"
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Don't expect the highest salary offer; the benefits are good, take advantage of them; they're very big on work/life balance so be prepared to discuss what you enjoy outside of work. They value digital solutions for every client so be prepared to speak traditional PR and digital."
What don't you like about working at Edelman Digital?
"Power struggle among superiors, rampant inefficiencies willfully ignored, compensation on the low end vs. competitors, Lack of a consistent, clear goals and structure-- no org chart, lack of a clear focus in the business model"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Choose between competing execs in NYC and Chicago one to lead the group; map all processes and use TQM methodologies to maximize efficiencies; modify P&L so one internal group doesn't have to fight with another over revenue, and both can focus instead on the client"

"I love what I do and the people I work with, but being part of a large organization is bureaucratic."
What do you like about working at Fleet Insurance Services?
"The work was varied. I was given a high level of responsibility and the people were great to work with."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Fleet was bought by Bank of America (and then BOA's insurance division sold) and it was quite a while now since I worked there. No suggestons."
What don't you like about working at Countrywide Home Loans?
"It was purchased by Bank of America and I did not like or fit well in that new culture."
What do you like about working at Euro RSCG?
"Learning the agency world and being able to also see Medical Education and the professional agency."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Strong coordinated/integrated vision; and removal of barriers for both parts of agency to work together to benefit the organization overall."
What don't you like about working at East West Bank?
"Limited technology and IT seen as solely as support with little to no value add."
What do you like about working at State of Alabama?
"It provides an opportunity to assist our president at cost saving measures as outlined by his agenda."

"Seriously consider your career there, but realize that recruitment advertising/employer branding is not as robust as it once was."

"The challenge to establish the company outside the US where competition was not much ahead."
