"They made a lot of money over a relatively short spoace of time and ultimately grew their operation to a mid level player in the industry closing almost 1/2 billion in monthly production before it was all said and done. As far as tips if they were still around - keep it up!"

"I started at the bottom and was able to learn as I progressed. There were a lot of growth opportunities and career moves I was able to do."

"As long as you work hard and don't go into management you will do well. When you start advancing in your career in gets very political and you become a moving target."
What don't you like about working at LandAmerica Financial Group?
"Once FNF started buying up all these Title Companies they lost control of the core company and the precepts that kept all of us original staff going. The company grew too fast and put people in charge that tried to implement the other Companies policies and procedures."

"Be cognizant of the staff you have at the top who is making decisions. Be loyal to your tenure people."

"It was Fannie Mae (god)"

"Be very clear on what the expectations are, responsibilities are. The politics will eat you alive. It's a huge shame! Wonderful illusions about working for GOD of the Mortgage Industry- only to find out it was so political. Well, time proved me right- look what happened to Fannie and Freddie!"

"It was Fannie Mae (Had absolutely NOTHING to do with Underwriting and EVERYTHING to do with politics)"

"The people were absolutely wonderful to work for and work with on a daily basis. I wish them many years of success."

"It will be easy keeping a smile on your face if you wind up working here. Everyone is genuinely wonderful to work with."

"Diverse in product and employees and so fast past that time to think of anything else would best describe First Federals working environment."

"$45k year bonus. Work kept me so busy that tiime went by fast."

"Closed--cannot interview."

"Distance, but that was the least I have traveled for any job. So is really not to much of a dislike. Vary rarly got a Saturday off."
