"Nothing in particular. However, I had a 1 year assignment in Forest, Mississippi that was miserable."
What do you like about working at BMC Software?
"Organization, professionalism, integration, safety, culture, location, building, in house services, office, resources, atmosphere, management, wages."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Just make sure you apply for the coorect job especially based on your liking and strength."
What do you like about working at Rockwell Collins?
"It is good company to work for but not the best. Technology leader but long way to go in comparison with Raytheon, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, General Dynamics and Northrop Grumman."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Network with the people from Iowa if you want to work for Rockwell Collins."
What don't you like about working at Rockwell Collins?
"Iowa centric, Since the pay scale in Iowa is much lower than the both coasts, if you are working on either coast and your group leader is based in Iowa, the group leader thinks that you are making lot more than what you deserve. Also because most of the leaderships also come from Iowa, it is very difficult for them to appreciate the background of the people from other areas."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Somehow they need to break from a Iowa-centric approach if they want to make it a world class organization."
