"Poor communication from corporate to remote offices, standardize basic procedure and communicate such, tools to do job are mediocre, computers need to be upgraded."

"Work on communication systems from corporate level to on site offices, standardize filing systems so everyone has use and access, upgrade equipment in offices and down to engineering level."

"With all properties being with one owner there was no job security."

"Increase and broaden their clientele so that if there is any movement in the market your employees are not at jeopardy."

"Streamlining the manager's portfolio and strenthening the support staff would create a happier environment, creating more productive employees, reduce burnout and resulting in better service to the client and minimizing turnover."

What do you like about working at Shelter Properties?
"I loved overseeing the staff; helping them to develop their professional potential. Implementing resident services such as a children's summer camp and various structured activities for adults was also very rewarding. Overall, I found great satisfaction in working to create a safer more serene living environment for the residents of the community."

"Shelter Properties was a wonderful company to work for. I left the company at a time when I needed more flexibility than the position allowed."
