"Ask about the management and reporting structure, company growth in the last few years, and your own growth opportunity prospects"

"Mostly incompetence, lack of org. structure, very poor management, misrepresentation, and no respect for professionalism"

"There are too many people 'managing' and mostly they are not qualified to manage others"

What do you like about working at Karpinski Engineering?
"They do healthcare design, which is pretty hot right now. Office locations are near the freeway. They provide donuts on Fridays."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"If you are going there to get healthcare experience, get a guaranty that you will get those kind of jobs up front. Don't leave a more secure job, for one here."
What don't you like about working at Karpinski Engineering?
"Very little experience of ownership. Ownership is so young it also hampers any others opportunities to move into senior management. Quick to hire, then fire depending on workload."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Spend more time and effort into hiring quality engineers instead of so many inexperienced engineers off the street. Don't work your young engineers so hard, and increase your ratio of PE's to non PE's to increase quality control."

"Good company! May have to bring yourself to the forefront and not wait on others including managers and directors to do it for you. Sometimes they just forget"

"Recognition for work above and beyond tasking not recognized or rewarded. Promotions promised but not executed as presented"

"Communicate openly with staff and allow staff to shine with you not behind you from the work performed by your staff."

"Its a good company to work for but make sure the job fits your career goals."

"The job was not very challenging. The products at this division were not technologically challenging."
