"I was managing a new product was being POC-d and worked with great vendors"

"Request to meet with folks from all departments - ask to look at existing sw to get a grasp of what the company actually does"
What don't you like about working at International Asset Systems?
"It was a very combative and contentious work environment. Not much diversity in the Engineering Dept when I was there."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Improve on vision and management style - increase diversity in the Engineering and QA departments. Leverage on existing talent when developing new products instead of only relying on newly hired folks."

"The QA group was very detail oriented and they kept me on my toes. This was the group I enjoyed working with the most."

"Make sure you speak with people from several departments to get a good gauge of the corporate culture. It may not work for me, but it may work for you."

"Alcohol consumption was prevalent and encouraged during office hours and office events/functions. There was the feeling of a boys'-network as well."

"To adopt a more professional work environment and reward system that was less bias."

"The main headquarters is in Chicago. Sometimes, it was hard to get information in real time."

"Managers should attend continuing education to keep up on industry changes. This should be included in the yearly budget"
