"We have been doing mainly maintenance for the last two years, without any new development initiatives"

"I feel that, overall, management is making relatively good decisions for the company's future"

"Very limited opportunity for job growth. Communication problems."

What do you like about working at CExchange?

"My 2 direct reports were excellent technically so I was impressed to be able to work with them."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Please be aware that the company culture is very informal, so if you are looking for a formal SDLC you will be disappointed. If you are a beginner to intermediate web developer looking to expand skills it might be a good fit, but it is definitely a freewheeling Web company type culture."

What don't you like about working at CExchange?

"The company was a startup and very lacking in management experience. There were known issues with funding (which may be resolved now). There were also problems with proper HR governance and a real issue with political discussions in the workplace that caused friction with co workers."

What do you like about working at Game Stop?

"There are some very talented people that I worked with and admired. They were certainly a help as a social support structure for other areas where the job was lacking."

"Make sure you are very clear with questions about what your role will entail and the work environment - depending on the position your level of contribution may or may not be recognized."

What don't you like about working at Game Stop?

"This cannot be easily summed up in a few words. I unfortunately found my direct report to be a very difficult person to work for who did not treat others as equal team members."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I gave them many in the exit interview - namely that they need to recognize that managers such as my direct report do not bode well for the company reputation both internally and externally if communication and respect are not maintained within the department."
