"I didn't particularly care to be bounced around to projects that had no visibility and that no one else either deemed important to the company or was their responsibility and they ignored it."

"Develop a plan for moving the organization forward, prioritize the larger projects, and actually start working on them in earnest by putting the most qualified people to work on them."

"Hard work and dedication pay off. If you are willing to put in the time, you'll be financially rewarded."

What don't you like about working at MetLife?

"I came from a company (Boeing) where people are invaluable, Met tends to forget this and job satisfaction surveys tend to decrease the longer employees stay."

"Manage through inspiration, not intimidation."
