"Be yourself. Relax and just answer the questions in an organized manor. Make small talk."

"It would be nice if headquarters was not in Peoria."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would hold my direct reports accountable. Accountability needs to trickle down to management, employees, and the shop floor. I would find out where the chain is broken and set my foot down. Easier said than done but this will be one of my initiatives."

"Interviews are generic. Mention SAFETY; and you are in."

"Beware stepping on the toes of upper management! Brown-nosers are welcomed. Intelectuals and problem solvers are discouraged. Hard work and overtime is not rewarded if you are a salaried employee."

"Comment to the upper management: Treat hard working employees like human beings. Respect and acknowledge new ideas from employees in the field."
