What do you like about working at IBM?

"I like my boss and my group. We had great ideas and big plans for the company."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Be prepared for 2-4 interviews. They are a fair company with compensation, and they treat their employees well, until they decide that you are no longer needed and they are changing their work with DoD again."

What don't you like about working at IBM?

"I dislike the massive layoffs."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Get out of the DoD business altogether. They keep getting in and then getting out, and they can't seem to decide what to do about the government."

"Managers listen and throw you the ball and let you run with it. Applaud you at the finish line!!!!! Then throw you another ball!"

"The company that bought them - seem to micro-manage."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"For the new EDS,listen to what the staff is saying and show some trust. Worked there for almost nine years, never had nothing but top-notch managers and none of them even worked in the same state as I did. TRUST, and I did not let them down."

What do you like about working at Cisco Systems?

"I like the flexible hours."

What don't you like about working at Cisco Systems?

"I dislike the lack of diversity on the thought process. If you didnt give the answer that management wanted, then you would be left out of the process. They were producing services that were not properly tested and QA."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"They need to hire more managers. I was on a team of 50 plus with one manager. He was a good manager but didnt have much time to spare."

"Resolve any concerns you have regarding benefits and compensation before accepting the offer."

What don't you like about working at IntelliDyne?

"Opportunity for growth seems questionable. Contract bidding every year....next year is the last option year. The HR staff does not seem to be concerned about employee satisfaction."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Management is great. Very supportive. Contracts are limited since it is a small company. I recommend that managers communicate future plans of potential contracts, positions, and all opportunities."
