"SAS penalizes current employees who found that working remotely made them more productive and want to work from home permanently. Even though SAS will be saving money by no longer having to pay for offices, etc. if employees choose to work remotely, now those employees will have to pay for their own work-related expenses such as travel or possibly office items needed to work from home. Also, no stipend or anything for home internet, cell phone, etc. This essentially amounts to a pay cut. Some employees are penalized in this way, but not all so it is also unequal even though employees can't have known ahead of the pandemic that they would want to work from home permanently. And thanks to tax changes in 2018, employees can't claim these unreimbursed business expenses on their taxes."

"I have worked for SAS for almost 10 years now. In that time I have had both good and bad supervisors. I think that experience will be the same no matter where you go so I just wanted to be honest about that. As far as the grounds goes, SAS has an absolutely beautiful campus equipped with 6 gourmet cafeterias to feed the 10,000+ employees on site. Other perks include a full gym, pool, hair salon, on site daycare, and dry cleaning! This is truly a wonderful company to work for."
