"I have spent years as an EHS professional and never had to "fight" so hard to instill change and improvement. Many projects were announced and required to be accomplished but funding was not available. Those that made the financial decisions were often allowed to render the decision to not spend on something required for employee or facility safety that was required by law. High turn over in the EHS organization should be a wake up to senior management but to date they have yet to ask WHY they are losing so much talent and time in any of their facilities. One would think that losing a few people a year would not raise any questions but at one time they were looking for 7 EHS Managers due to employees leaving."
