IT Consultant

"I've been working with Santander Consumer USA as a contractor for the past 6 months. My position is to represent Santander IT since Desktop Support is run by a 3rd party vendor. To make sure Desktop Support is following Santander's policies and procedures. I've changed the end user's experience to a very positive attitude here in Mesa office. All escalations is brought to my attention for resolutions or escalate to correct IT group. For the short amount of time being onsite, words have spread amount end users that I'm the "genuine" IT person. I've gained excellent report and trust with the business units onsite. I've worked on multiple projects to improve end user's experience in the Mesa office. Some of the major issues included network latency issues and specific applications issues. My only reason for looking elsewhere is because I was told I would be hired on full-time in 3 months. Since Santander has a new CEO, they're currently going through a re-organization. I do enjoy working here and everybody treats me like a full-timer and surprised that I'm a contractor."
