"I now prefer a permanent position that is guaranteed work now that my kids are in/out of college."

"There isn't really a management system. You are completely on your own and pick up with what the regular class teacher left for you."
What do you like about working at San Diego Unified School District?
"In the San Diego Unified School District I was an Intern teacher for 6 months while working on my Masters Degree. In this position I lead courses for high school students as a full time teacher in the performing arts. During this tenure, I developed Lesson plans, managed classroom environments, trained students in several subject areas, managed budgetary finances, and pursued successfully several grants for the Performing Arts Department."
What don't you like about working at San Diego Unified School District?
"I did not gain the experience of working with adults on a daily basis in a capacity I prefer in my professional pursuits. I also pursued finding a position that was full time as an educator as well."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Continued alignment of the No Child Left Behind Act and the continued renewal of infrastructure with in the San Diego School District."
