"The customers were awesome and knowledgeable about the products."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"I have tried several times in the last couple of years to be rehired. Would advise anyone to 'stay put' if they get hired. Only left because my son was 14, and as a single parent, the hours were difficult. Also, dress the part - Saks is a classy upscale place and that should be remembered every day."

What don't you like about working at Saks Fifth Avenue?

"The manager favored, very strongly, one employee in our department."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Give each employee a fair chance to prove themselves."
