What do you like about working at Safeway?

"I like retail and the fact that my projects have a direct impact to both the customer and end users of the company. My work is out there for the benefit of the company - including to increase sales, streamline operational processes and work with marketing/customer loyalty initiatives."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"It's a great place to work. It helps to have actual Safeway retail experience in the stores as the processes and business practices are specific to the retail operations."

What don't you like about working at Safeway?

"A lot of red tape. Also, slow to make decisions and not too innovative of a company."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Cut the tape."
