"I was selected as a candidate and was told to resign from my job due to the upcoming start day for the position being so close. I completed all the requisitions for the position and was told by an HR Rep Talent Acquisition that one of my reference shared an IP address with me, which I was confused about this. After doing further research I found that an IP address is not even 100% accurate. Due to this, the HR rep pulled my application as a candidate. When I contacted her in regards to the issue beforehand she did not respond to my call and waited to break the news after the weekend. I told her this was a real reference and you can call the person or I can provide additional references. The HR rep refused and said it's in the system as forged and that was it. I have never experienced a process such as this and to tell me to resign then revoke the position due to an IP address that is not even accurate?"
