"I was selected as a candidate and was told to resign from my job due to the upcoming start day for the position being so close. I completed all the requisitions for the position and was told by an HR Rep Talent Acquisition that one of my reference shared an IP address with me, which I was confused about this. After doing further research I found that an IP address is not even 100% accurate. Due to this, the HR rep pulled my application as a candidate. When I contacted her in regards to the issue beforehand she did not respond to my call and waited to break the news after the weekend. I told her this was a real reference and you can call the person or I can provide additional references. The HR rep refused and said it's in the system as forged and that was it. I have never experienced a process such as this and to tell me to resign then revoke the position due to an IP address that is not even accurate? I always had high hopes for Safe Horizon but to experience this with HR has left a very bad taste."

"Increase salaries to keep good employees and avoid turnover."

What do you like about working at Safe Horizon?

"I was specfically hired to work for grants accounting keeping, reporting and billing. I enjoyed working in different, NYC, NYS, Federal, Foundations, etc grants. Staff were helpful in sharing the knowledge required to do the job."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Different persons have different management style. Some good education and experience other did not have. Middle managers tested and interviewed me. They found the best qualifed person and hired me immediately. However, the person in decision making position had no idea about managment. The person was accountant for accounting. Even if the person is working in accounting, he/she is living, thinking being. Management must try to understand them in totality. Quick to hire and quick to fire is management problem that has led the U.S. economy down. There is management problem in the U.S. It must be corrected first in order lift any organization and thereby economy."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Senior management did not know the proper management channel of staff hiring and firing. Person being in the management position did not know the managment."
