What do you like about working at Russ Berrie?
"It was fun, and the art department was young and full of great ideas"
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"I wouldn't. Unless you'd like to get laid off."
What don't you like about working at Russ Berrie?
"I was an intern and I felt I was better than a few of the full time artists. However no one wanted to hire me full time. Then everyone got laid off."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"When the owner Russ Berrie died the company went downhill. The company was left in bad hands and as a result had to lay off a lot of people."
What do you like about working at Russ Berrie?
"I enjoyed working with the products they developed and sold."
What don't you like about working at Russ Berrie?
"Company was completely unorganized and not open for change."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Too many people in management positions where a lot of talking is done and not a lot of execution. Company needed to be more open to new ideas and newer, more modern ways of doing business."
