After graduation I worked odd jobs in construction from remodeling to commercial forming and demo. In 1986 I moved to the DFW area where I started framing and cornice and moved to interior trim. I worked doing this until 1989 when I went to work for a sawmill where I learned to grade lumber run a large s4s planer, around 1994 I quit and returned to construction with the same person I trimmed with where I specialized in stairs, cabinets and custom trim until 2007. In 2007 I went to work at my family business in Louisiana where I learned metal working and how to weld aluminum, stainless, cast iron, silver solider and lead soldier. I worked there until 2015 when I returned to DFW back to construction in interior finish out. I have worked in the office doing sales where I learned how to estimate jobs, submit proposals, and use Word, Excel, Outlook and Sage 100. I also started my own company in 2017 R&T Construction LLC as well as received my Texas Real Estate License. I have run my company and as a sub for others and know the residential construction process as well as scheduling. What I don't know I am willing to learn asap. A company willing to put me on will find a team player who works well with others and knows how to listen to other for direction and insight. I am willing to relocate."
