RPI Employee

"I had a bad experience working as a customer services representative (temp) in the RPI Atlanta (Kennesaw) office. The person who was assigned to train me (the permanent customer services rep) was not the person who hired me, and appeared to dislike me from the start. After one day, she asked me if I was returning; she did not respond to any of my emails; and she gave me no feedback on any of the ad hoc tasks that I completed. She absolutely did not train me; to start with, I was given virtually nothing to do, and then all of a sudden, she started to bark orders at me, with no instructions. Finally, I now suspect that the salary that was quoted to me verbally by the employment agency is not the salary I have received; so it appears I may have endured all this for peanuts."

Software Developer

"I worked at RPI for around a year and a half, and in that time, the development and QA teams easily doubled in size. Developers were able to focus on a specialty, and collaborate with other developers to cross-train in different areas. It was a good team to work with. The management has a bad habit of deciding to go in one direction, and if it doesn't work like they expect, abandoning the work done and starting over. When this happens, they often look for someone to blame."
