What do you like about working at Rogers Corp.?

"The people are friendly, supportive and incredibly intelligent at Rogers. The new CEO seems to have a good course charted for the company. He quickly replaced people who were ineffective and brought a global perspective to the company. I enjoyed autonomy and the ability to experiment by streamlining processes and changing some practices to make them more employee friendly."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"The process does not go quickly. It is thorough and in depth to ensure the right people are hired. Expect a lot of competency based interview questions."

What don't you like about working at Rogers Corp.?

"The technology used by the company is outdated and the systems are not integrated to work with each other."

"Develop a clear strategy and a culture which supports the strategy. Communicate, communicate, communicate."

"Challenging. I work at several roles such as process engineer, emulsion formulation, statistician, etc"

"Be ready and willing to work in a fast paced workplace."

"Very dynamic and with high degree of involvement in what the customer needed."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Grow and Look for expansion in emerging markets such as India and South America. The enginers of Rogers are very good and should solve most of its problems."

"None. I had great interviews and came out of the gate running. New management meant a new vision contrary to mine."

What don't you like about working at Rogers Corp.?

"My boss was let go and my new boss had a different vision that my previous. Due to this, I was laid off shortly following my boss. It was very disconcerting."

"Do what you say and say what you do. Be open to suggestion even if it comes from a former employee."
