"Free parking. Workers are mostly competent and easy to work with."

"Don't. Rockwell Collins is a hire and fire company with hiring binges and layoff binges. They have behavioral interviews. They are by far the worst company I have ever worked for from a middle and upper management standpoint."

What don't you like about working at Rockwell Collins?

"Upper management will lay off to get their bonus. Upper management is worthless. The company is a hire and fire company with hiring binges and layoff binges. Will lay off people who were recently hired. Willing to let loose cannons screw things up and then give it to good people who then have to scramble to fix it. Have put out military flight hardware that doesn't meet specifications. Middle and upper management is dishonest and incompetent."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Fire yourselves, you are worthless. Other than that, you should follow the company's published values. Stop hiring H1B's. Be loyal to your employees."

"Compensation and benefits are similar to other places."

"Environment is not productive. Some bad people spoiled the workplace and they stay there forever, thanks to their seniority. The middle management is in crisis."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Put honest and competence middle level management in place. Establish (unofficial) communication channels so the workers' voices can be heard by senior management. Removed incompetent and dishonest elements (at all levels)."

"Get rid of the HCL contractors, and use American people who know their stuff."
