What do you like about working at Roche?

"The sales training was exceptional. I truly enjoyed establishing real relationships with customers and prospects within my territory."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"Make certain that you interview, or have the occasion to meet as many of the key players you will be working with in the position. That may include a Technical Specialist, several Field Engineers, more than one type of Sales Representative, in addition to the hiring RBM and Regional Director. Your success really does depend on good relationships with all of these people."

What don't you like about working at Roche?

"The team sales approach was not always an optimal environment. Often two members of a team would have goals which conflicted. This approach has been abandoned, and I believe the sales team is much more effective."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Stability! Determine why there was such high turn-over in management (two different RBMs, two different RDs and three different VP of S&M) within 2.5 years, and find solutions. As the people on the front lines, it is extremely difficult to achieve goals which are constantly changing."
