"Great organization but no room for advancement"
What do you like about working at University Physicians Hospital?
"Outgoing, challenging, and friendly place to work. The staff was very supportive."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"This is a great organization. If offered a job, I would say accept it."
What don't you like about working at University Physicians Hospital?
"There was not any room for advancement. Being a teaching hospital meant always having students."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Consider looking at ways for nursing to advance and not just physicians."
What do you like about working at Tenet Healthcare?
"Some of the employees were team focused and we worked well together."
Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"Don't! Although I wish I could say that healthcare had better options at other systems, the truth is that healthcare is now all about the bottom line. Patient care is an afterthought from administration. I know, I was in administration, one level from the Chief Nursing Officer."
What don't you like about working at Tenet Healthcare?
"Employees are a number and it is all about the bottom line. Patients are the last concern. It is a prime example of what healthcare should not be and where it is heading."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Each Tenet Facility is different and managed independently. Atlanta Medical Center has a strict structural climate. There is little team focus. The executive team are constantly blaming each other and extending the knife in the back attitude. It was sickening."
