Riverside Community College (now known as Riverside City College or RCC) is a community college based in Riverside, California. The college was originally known as the Riverside City College when it opened its doors in 1916. The institution's name was changed to Riverside Community College, but in 2008, a decision was made to revert back to its old name, Riverside City College. The college was first located on the same site as the Riverside Polytechnic High School, but as it expanded, it got its own campus in 1965.
