Revision Military Employee

"Howard Switser Dear Hiring Manager Please look at my attached resume for a detailed look at my skills and experience. I believe I possess the necessary skills and experience you are seeking and would make a valuable addition to your team. As my resume indicates, I possess more than 23 years in the manufacturing field. My professional history includes positions Continuous Improvement specialist, plant manager, production manager and department supervisor at NSA Industries. The positions I held at Jeld-Wen were Production Manager, Coordinating Group Manager, Safety Manager, Environmental Manager and Group Manager. Position I am currently hold is Process and production improvement specialist at Mathews Brothers. As Production Manager at Jeld-Wen, I increased productivity and reduce staffing using 5S and lean tools such as Kaizen events, Kanban and Takt time in the North Springfield plant. I moved the plant from a two-shift operation to a one shift production operation. Increased KPI’s and UPLH. As plant manager for NSA Industries, I planned and successfully moved a 90,000-square foot facility in a six-month time period. I operated and completed a multi-million-dollar capital improvement project that reduced floor space and staffing with increase in productivity. As continuous improvement specialist at Mathews Brothers I designed and implemented SQDCIL matrix boards. Start a Gemba walk. This has identified issues big and small that we have improved. Increased flow and efficiencies to achieve goals. My skills are current, and I am up to date within the industry. With these skills and qualifications, I believe I would be a powerful addition to your organization. I have attached my resume for your review. I would be happy to provide greater detail about my skills and experience during an interview. Please all me at your earliest convenience. Looking forward to hearing from you. Sincerely, Howard Switser"
