"Low pay, high expectations, no chance for progression, zero reason for loyalty."

What do you like about working at Retail Anywhere?

"The benefits are decent, the competition is low, there is very little scrutiny, and you aren't timed in anything."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"If you plan on working in either the Support or Implementation department as anything that is NOT a manager, know SQL. You will be useless to either department without it. It doesn't matter if they say you don't need to know it -- you do. You can't install or troubleshoot our software without the ability to write queries in TSQL.And be prepared to argue your beginning wage -- they'll pay their friends 6 figures but you'll be lucky to make $17 / hour."

What don't you like about working at Retail Anywhere?

"Pay is below average. Rave annual review Not even a dime raise. Chance to move up in the company relies on who you have BBQ with on Saturdays. If you aren't already friends with the CEO or COO, you're as good as dirt. Disposable employees. There is a distinct feeling that the customer service dept is the red headed stepchild of the company and awful at their jobs, but provide no internal training to prepare them for the job. Requirements for the job are always understated in every department."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Make truthful job postings so people who don't waste time applying for and working for the company to find out they needed something far more advanced to be proficient. Hire enough competent people to keep up with demand and workload without producing genuinely awful go-lives."
