  • "I truly love all the aspects of doing research: The time you spend to come up with interesting problems, the paths you explore to solve your problems, the conferences you attend, the bright people you have the chance to meet, the stage of waking up in the middle of night with an idea and sharing it with your colleagues the next day, are all just a few examples. The only thing that I hate about it is the times your papers get rejected!"

  • "Working at IBBR, I have come to the realization that I may need multiple projects going at the same time. Laboratory work here, while entertaining, have large waiting times which make for a tension due to feeling of not being productive. Then again, the better you are at researching, the better you are able to fill in those wait times, and at IBBR, the better you enjoy the freedom to research whatever your heart desires."
