"Do not give up customer service. It is more important now then ever because of the competitive nature of the business."

"Unfortunately, Broadview Security was acquired by ADT. As a result the great culture is gone."

"Meeting with clients and hear the satisfaction in their comments or helping someone with a complaint be able to work it out with satisfaction and know I made the difference. I love my employees."

"Always be yorself and honest. Be conficedent in yourself and believe in whar your are selling..... yourself."

"Listen to your employees, they do the work so sometimes they have really good ideas on how to make the job better or save money."

What do you like about working at Hudson News?

"I enjoy the opportunity and challenge because when I signed on with Hudson Specialty Retailers, this position was new to the company and I got to grow the business, hands on, one airport at a time. When I started with Hudson News I had 14 airports in 123 stores. When I left Hudson News I had 21 airports in over 200 plus stores."

"Don't. But, believe that it will be short-lived and ask for lots of money up front."

What don't you like about working at Volunteers of America?

"CEO level management, coming from corporate in DC; no consistency, ad hoc rules and policies, income for programs doesn't go to programs."

"Don't waste your time or your own money. They will not reimburse you for expenses."
