What do you like about working at Reco Industries?
"Working for a small business means that you are responsible for everything: estimating, engineering, fabrication, shipment, often installation, repair of existing pressure vessels and heat exchangers for a wide variety of customers. Also, I had daily interaction with all levels of the company from President to entry-level union workers. A terrific growth experience."
What don't you like about working at Reco Industries?
"It was sad to see friends and respected associates leave as the business collapsed in the recession, and have the character of the company change and shrink leaving me unemployed for the first time."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Pay attention to efficiency and moderation even in the good times. One change I suggested that was implemented eliminated a step in moving a job from booking to engineering saving 24-48 hours"
