"Well, first, it depends if you are a student, which I am, or staff. If a student, be ready to be aggressive with your advisor in order to get their attention and keep them thinking about you."
What don't you like about working at UC Berkeley?
"Professors are too focused on their own bottom line to assist with careerbuilding of others. Many only help when they have time..and they only have time if it is on their list of 'have to do's from the graduate division."

"I would create mentorship programs with a focus on collaborative work between students and professors."

"Flexible hours, freedom to pursue independent projects, and the ability to work while at school."
