"Huge breakdown of communication from upper management to the store management level. Not a team win environment, a bunch of old dogs, refusing to learn and adapt to the changes they are faced with... very unfortunate, because I love doing what I do. Just seems like no one cares about the success I've had."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"After becoming a key holder at 7 weeks because they needed me to open and close, my next step would be a manager - 51 hours a week, 6 days a week."
What don't you like about working at RadioShack?
"The amount of statistics gathered on me would make a lab rat faint. If I don't make numbers I'm yelled at, and if I do, my expectations for next month are raised. Tax return season sold a ton of phones, now selling 1 a month and being yelled at. I can't make them come in with wads of cash!"
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Make the expectations reasonable, and raise base pay some to make it livable. I would also look into addressing the imbalance between a key holder and a normal person. I took these keys because I thought I would get a raise, and now I have to make deposits and open and close all for the same pay."
"RadioShack is a nice retailer to work for."
"Not bad, not good so far."
