"I worked with Quest Software from Oct 2019 to present. I wouldn't say it has been a positive experience, there was major shifts in leadership that threw off the company dynamics. The sales teams are run poorly and the upper management only cares about money and they will do what ever to get it."

"I worked for Quest Software since May 2005. I joined the company as a junior designer and was promoted to a senior designer within a year. In 2012 we were purchased by Michael Dell and our software company became part of Dell.com. In 2016, we were sold to Francisco Partners, an American private equity firm focused exclusively on investments in technology and technology-enabled services. I was very happy working at Quest and felt the job life balance was great and there was room for getting promoted and learning new technology. In the past year of my job, I felt that the company was only focused on making money and kept cutting costs within operations to save money. Our company went through many layoffs and ultimately my design team was cut in California to save money and move operations to Ohio."

"Overall, I had a good experience working at Quest Software for the last 5 years. I transitioned from being a UI developer to a UI/UX designer and the team supported me to make the move within the company. It has a flexible work environment in terms of working hours since most of the employees are remote. However, things have become hectic since the acquisition. The company went through many lay-offs and started to downsize tremendously."

"Listen to your employees more they will more often than not have the great ideas."

"Make sure your sharp and on your toes. BZ Halberstam may seem like he is just being friendly but he is very smart."

"I really enjoyed working there and cant think of anything I didn't like. I learned a lot and enjoyed my co-workers"

"I would suggest that they listen to the sales team more since they have great suggestions."

What do you like about working at Quest Software?

"I would have to think about that...I like that I can wear shorts and a t-shirt. I like that I get to travel sometimes. Free coffee, fruit, pop. View of the waterfront. I can work from home twice a week."

"Be honest about your skills and abilities. Don't be afraid to let people know what you're capable of."

"Salarly could be more. Opportunities could be more. Overall it's the people I have to deal with on a regular basis."

"Probably nothing, I don't know much about being a CEO."
