"Be prepared to relate actual professional experiences that describe workplace competencies. Hone your descriptions to subject, action, result. Practice out loud. Prepare a graceful introduction and final comment. Research the company. Be prepared for the possibility that you may have to interview multiple times for multiple jobs. Positions at State Farm are sought after and you never know what the candidate pool is for each one. Follow up with a thank you note and stay in touch with your human resources contact."
