"A good place to work, management was helpful when needed for assistance."
"Not applicable at this time."
"The company was a brilliantly led company prior to QBE purchasing it. IT was like a large family where the CEO even knew everyone there and most people's significant others and children's names. It was profitable, quick moving and fun to work at. Once QBE started asserting itself it started outsourcing the business, letting a high percentage of the long time employees go and the current workplace is very depressing."
"Ever since the QBE take over of Unigard and GC, the company continued to over-extend and make bad business decisions. These decisions brought on the need to destroy their employees lives by out sourcing their IT department and other departments as well"
"Overall it is a great company."
"My division was purchased by QBE. I was able to work remotely to support my business sponsor."
"Inadequate training, no opportunities for advancement, dishonest leadership."
"The company is headed into a transformational phase and in my opinion, going about it the wrong way."
"QBE is a multinational insurance provider that is looking to streamline processes and costs. They are going through a difficult change period right now but are making the tough decisions to become a more efficient company."
"Constant computer issues, they ask for and listen to suggestions you make, but it goes in one ear and out the other. CEO changes so often the company has no footing. Discrimination, disrespect and favoritism is tolerated rampant, although they are usually careful to not do it to openly . . . . you are asked to sign an agreement, upon employment, that requires disputes you have go to arbitration, which makes it much more difficult for you to prosecute them for bad behavior."
