I enjoy stepping through and working through why defects happen and where to nail the defect. What I do not like about the job is the endless meetings that take up more time than being able to do heads down/hands on testing."

"This could be a good company to work for. Make sure that you are in tune with their philosophy before you start sharing your ideas."

"There is little access to the tools you need to do your job. It takes an act of congress to implement new tools for testing."

"Give credit to those who work for you. Have their back, and support them. Don't be too quick to make decisions that you may regret, and verify the information that you receive in reports from new, inexperienced employees."
