"As a QA Tester I get the opportunity to work on the leading edge of new technology. I get the chance to interface with other project stake holders and working as a QA Tester allows me to create test plans and test procedures. One down side to being a QA Tester is that by being at the end of the Software Development Life Cycle we have little influence on the processes up stream from us."

What do you like about working at Pandemic Studios?

"The work environment was excellent. The people at Pandemic were very fun to work with, but never unprofessional."

What don't you like about working at Pandemic Studios?

"Some tasks were boring and repetitive. And there was risk of burnout during crunch time, but that just goes with the territory of a QA job in the games industry, and not really Pandemic's fault entirely."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"I think one manger in particular would sometimes get too caught up in nitty gritty details, which I think were counter productive overall. I'm not saying that attention to detail isn't important, it's just that in some cases I think he went a little too far."

Please give us a one liner to describe this review.

"For an office job, working on Guitar Hero had you moving around alot which was great"

What do you like about working at Neversoft Entertainment?

"office atmosphere was casual and at least during breaks had a fun vibe, despite being an office job playing drums all day or singing was great, free drinks, ability to listen to music all day though you often got tired of the songs after not too long, it improved my singing voice and served as a decent amount of exercise on the job if you cared to do it and maybe did some push ups/crunches during breaks"

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"be able to play guitar hero well"

What don't you like about working at Neversoft Entertainment?

"I had an aweful commute and they were ridiculously strict on punctuality and let you know they would not hesitate to fire you even off of breaks, management really strict on remaining on task which stifled much of the fun of working there, parking was nearly a deal breaker given their punctuality policy due to spot availability, it was in woodland hills which is ridiculously hot during the day for a vast majority of the year"

What suggestions do you have for management?

"appreciate that people have stuff that goes on outside of the work environment and that giving people a minute here would be nice and that sort of stuff doesnt always have to be dealt with harshly, limit their own facebook, web surfing and personal email hypocracy as far as time management goes"

"Be personable they like people with a personality to lighten the mood when the hours get long and the grind sets in on the job"
