"This group was very isolated and it was not a team environment."

"Build better communication with employees, and create an environment that empowers the employees."

"My immediate management was excellent and allowed me to expand the range of my experience from QA to project management."

"The environment can be excellent if make the effort to meet others outside of your own project. They can be helpful to yours."
What don't you like about working at Hughes Network Systems?
"Upper management was changing and seemed to be a bit uninterested in assuring that the contract would be awarded."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I understand this was Hughe's first major attempt at partnering with Boeing, but Boeing clearly was senior in that relationship. In hindsight, it was inevitable."

"I don't like about working in this company is the Management."

"My suggestion is to implement transparent procedure on progress rating."

"The company had good benefits. Upper management treated the employees well and seemed to care about happiness in the work place."

"Be sure you know the personality type of your manager and that you are compatible. Bad managers can make your life hell."
What don't you like about working at The Advisory Board Co.?
"The internal tools that were required for the job were undocumented and difficult to use. The developers were not available to explain how to use them. There was very little collaboration."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would ask the employees for their suggestions for improvement. Senior employees were hired but never asked to contribute to the establishment of processes. The boss was controlling and insecure. She was threatened by those with more experience in her field and undermined them."

"The work culture is so good at the client office."

"Be true to yourself... if you don't know something. Accept it and try to learn."
