"Research and interview with multiple companies to get a feel for the workplace environment. Decide if you are willing to spend most of your time at work, completing mostly thankless tasks."
What don't you like about working at PwC?
"Working at PwC takes up most of my life, leaving very little time for a personal life. When time off is given, it is given on very short notice, making it difficult to take full advantage of."

"One of the big four audit firms in the world, the environment is good although the work-life balance is a little bit off."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?
"If they want to find a large company to work at, they may use this as a way to reach those companies. But if they just want to later open their own CPA practice, they should get out of this company as soon as possible to establish their local firm experience, because the experience at the Big-4 is suitable for large client companies when local CPA firms tend to have much smaller clients that requires a totally different approach and mentality. If they stay at the Big-4 firm for too long, it will take a lot of time to change to adapt to local CPA firm's style. Then, their time spent and experience obtained at the Big-4 could be a total waste."
What don't you like about working at PwC?
"They do not treat people equally, as they tend to reserve great opportunities to some, but not to the others, so that you have to know the partners well to be protected from being ignored, even if you are very qualified. Also, some managers who could not be promoted to partners could give you a hard time to prevent you from being discovered. Other managers who are too young and do not have enough experience dealing with the outside world, lack management skills that won't be able to make people want to stay under them."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"No comments, since they probably think they are doing well, as they have survived for so long anyhow."
"Amazing company to work for. I've been here for the past 5 1/2 years. Great benefits. Current position outsourced."
"I have worked for PwC service delivery center in Kolkata. It is a good organization to get platform on new challenges however the work culture is miles to improve yet."
"I have worked at PwC as an intern for 2 months. The experience was great but a lot can be improved on. Some days, there were not access to client's information which makes it difficult to follow up. However, the overall experience was great."
"I started at PwC in 2018. While exposure to Fortune 500 companies is great, the visibility within the company is often poor, and morale can be low. It is no doubt an amazing opportunity, but one I am ready to move on from and apply my learning elsewhere."
