"Sumco was a wonderful company. Lots of responsibilities and challenges. I loved it!"
What do you like about working at SUMCO?
"I was responsible for the plant's purchasing. We had a class 100 cleanroom and 19 reators onsite. Learned alot about chemicals and specialty chemicals and safety requirements."

"It is still a wonderful company that manufactures a niche product. Know the product."
What don't you like about working at SUMCO?
"The company merged with a competitor and closed a few plants, including the Fremont plant."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"I would have suggested they not close the Fremont plant. Our quality, safety, and manufacturing team were world-class."
