"Super conservative company, not LGBT friendly, and provides no real accommodations for maternity leave. You have to use sick and vacation time and then unpaid leave if you want to take maternity leave."

"I worked my way from help desk 1 to sr. analyst 2 in 5 years. I could have done this in half the time if they were interested in advancing people. I was turned done for my first promotion, not for my skill level, but because I had only been there 4 months. That was not a written reason they should have denied me.I learned a lot in the job and moved on. I make double what I did then a year after I left."

"I worked for Publix for 5 months and enjoyed my time there. They are currently working to upgrade both their infrastructure and their software platforms. The environment is in the process of modernizing as well so it takes some time to get used to for those experienced in modern environments."

"I started working at Publix in March 2012. I started off as a bagger, but I quickly got promoted to a grocery clerk. It is definitely a place you can make a career out of if you interested in the retail field. The starting pay is really hard to live off of, but if you make it too management, the pay becomes really nice."
