"make sure you have everything in writing of company expectations and what they tell you at hiring,because it changes after starting."

What don't you like about working at Public Storage?

"over demanding managers, unrealistic expectations of employees, too many changes in what was required of the jobs, approval of work could take weeks and months to get by upper management. Every level of management only worried about getting bonus based on results and would not spend any money for upkeep of sites until it was a major problem falling under Capital improvements and became a fire drill . Too much stress was the only result."

"The stock grants were good when they were allocated. I made my own schedule and was free to travel from property to property (not confined to one location every day). Great benefits package."

"Too much working outside in the elements (over 50% of the time, if not more). There is a salary cap that I was never told about. Advancement opportunities are very limited (most RVP's were being hired externally)."

"Advise new hires about the salary cap, the limited advancement opportunities and the amount of outside work that needs to be completed."
