"A good place to get a start in AV. I love meeting all of the clients and doing such different events. With such a large company there is plenty of place to advance too. The pay is not great and it has become very corporate after the Swank AV and PSAV merger."

"I've worked with PSAV for over a decade and things went to bad to OK to actually good, then started to go down FAST when the merger started, then it went down hill at record speed. The employees are treated like garbage, labor laws are broken daily without consequences. HR will lie to you and do nothing about it. The company does have its moments but when push comes to shove the people at the bottom will suffer. Pay is as low as they can go (and since they are most of the industry) they can actually say (no matter the pay) that it is about industry average. Raises are capped at 3% (that is the highest, not the average). Moving up in the company is really hard unless you are inept and not a very good person (these people float to the top fast). After a while I could not take it any more and the first chance I got I bailed as I saw the that things will get worse."

"HORRIBLE COMPANY! HR does not listen to employees. They have a very poor 401K, the process management within the company is so disorganized nothing gets done."

"Leadership is stunningly callous and responsibilities for action are always handed down to property staff with little or vague guidance. Just when you think this company has some standards...they hit a new low. Information is not properly shared and most properties have to "wing it" as best as they can and come up with sensible strategies that only help them to keep their jobs, but get no credit for it."

"Working at PSAV has definitely been a learning process. Being it my first job out of College, I didn't know what to expect having to face the real world and having had to put my skills that I've learned from College into my daily job. While I have loved meeting new people who I now consider friends, the company has been undergoing changes a lot. Some of this changes I don't really feel like go best with my attributes and I am ready to move on and find new challenges which as a result can grow my skills and make me become a better tech and engineer."

"I have worked for PSAV for the past year and when I first heard about the company and spoke to a hiring representative at my school (LA Film), they pitched it as I would be doing audio work and running boards at events since I come from an audio background, but this was not the case. I have not yet been given the chance to show my skills to the company even after I spoke with my supervisor. Also, work slows down causing the company to schedule us into work for months."

"PSAV is one of the leading AV companies for a reason. They have a strong overall structure within the company with plenty of room for growth, with an emphasis on training and development. They regularly exceed their clients wants and needs, and pride themselves on how well and how many shows/clients they have. As a tech, its definitely one of the best places to build your foundation. However, the one common gripe does hold true, they do not pay their techs well. Overall though, it's a great place to work, with good benefits as well."

"I have worked for PSAV for roughly 1 year. I've found it to have very strong growth potential which will allow it's employees to grow and expand throughout not only the country but the world as a whole. The company employs more than 9,000 unique and highly qualified individuals in several thousand locations across the globe."

"PSAV was truly a great leverage into learning a lot more about Audio Visual systems and the industry on its own. At first it seemed a bit overwhelming to go into the Live Sound world, so walking in at first was a bit of an anxious moment for me. However after meeting my team, learning their sides of things, and realizing how much more I actually know and will know, This job has been a success. Now, i'm ready to seek greater opportunities."

"I've been working for PSAV for 2 years. Everyday on the job is different, so to generally review it as a whole feels like a disservice. I would argue that the techs carrying out the grunt work are mostly great people. The killer is the relationship between us and the sales teams or the higher ups. There are locations and events that are exceptions, of course."
