"Don't expect a lot of training, be ready to learn by doing. Have great time-management skills. Many realtors are bored retired individuals with an income and want to just hang around and talk all day."

"Having no security of pay. Living only on commission income is stressful. No retirement, no benefits. Getting paid had nothing to do with competency, but market conditions and luck."

"Should allow agents to have outside employment so they have some cash flow between commissions."
