"Working for Denholtz was my dream job, had to leave due to my divorce. There was nothing that I dislike."

"Be willing to transfer and smooze the big guys if you want to advance."

"Not enough management from the direct management or higher managers."

"More management involvement in the satellite offices and less coasting."

"If interviewing at the Palm Beach office, better act like you like the South Beach lifestyle or you won't fit in."

"Office I worked in was 'left to its devices' and was not monitored so it devolved into a jr high school."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"More management involvement of the satellite offices. Working 8 years and only meeting the senior manager for your region 3 times is not involvement."

"I've had great managers who have fully supported me and embraced their roles as mentors. Their trust in me has helped build my self- confidence and my belief in myself."

"Ask about future opportunities and plans for growth in your market."
What don't you like about working at Equity Residential?
"Equity is transitioning out of the ATL market and the opportunities are very limited. The pay scale is less than at many other large property mgmt companies, and they tend to understaff their properties."
What suggestions do you have for management?
"Create a more competitive pay scale and larger bonus incentives for top performers. Use Assistant Managers again, they are truly missed onsite."

"The daily interaction with professionals and staff. Opportunity to learn new software and job related duties."

"didn't like.... my boss was an absolute insecure lunatic that was paranoid and couldn't guide a worm out of a hole. showed that people in management position because of credentials don't necessarily deserve to be guiding a team."

"realize some members of your team have more talent than you and help bring it out. Groom it!!"
