"I've worked at promedica for 3 years. It has the prestige of the big fish in a small pond. However, working in the IT department, I (along with peers) felt like 3rd class citizens. Managers are generally from a non it history, so they can't quite grasp the details required to complete tasks, which causes expected over time."
"I started working for ProMedica since 2014 when ProMedica purchased Memorial Hospital in 2014. I have worked in the IT department during the entire merger. I would say they the IT department is dysfunctional, communication to employees is a low priority and instead of working proactively, there is a lot of "fighting fires" when a technology or applications is down."
"Working with Promedica is one of my most challenging out of all my work I have done in past which kept me very busy and enjoy working."
"Promedica is a good company that fell on hard times and is slowly recovering at this time."
