Project Test Engineer at Electronic Data Systems
in San Diego, CA

What do you like about working at Electronic Data Systems?

"I got to look into the inner workings of their ink jet printer designs and to upgrade the software. I was also able to compare the software against the designs from Boise, ID. I was free to design my own testing regimen to automate the USB test interface."

Do you have any tips for others interviewing with this company?

"The product lines are limited to printer technology, so be comfortable spending your career there even if it limits your future options and valuation to others."

What don't you like about working at Electronic Data Systems?

"Too fast paced because documentation support was largely missing and outside commentary was short. HP was not being loyal to their long term employees and early retirement was at an all time high."

What suggestions do you have for management?

"Get organized and give more support and reassurance to your employees. Crack the whip less often and offer incentives."
